What if I get heckled?

It is unlikely really that you will be interrupted. However, you will be provided with a list of ‘off the cuff’ remarks to cover unexpected events. You will have to select the most appropriate one for the moment.

I've never spoken in public before

And Finally...

Remember that even experienced speakers get it wrong sometimes. They want to see you do well and they are looking forward to being entertained. A mistake is not failure. Do not think of the audience as ‘the enemy’ They are your friends.
